Bell Choir
WE’RE STARTING A BELL CHOIR!
To help us in the planning for this new group we need to know how many people are interested in regular weekly rehearsals. Unlike vocal choirs, where occasional absences can be covered by those present, in a bell group every ringer is solely responsible for two bells; if you are not present, those notes will be missing as well. So attendance is crucial. While learning to ring is not difficult, we have had a number of good musicians already express an interest, so a certain level of musical training and ability to read basic rhythm will be an asset for group cohesion – Grade 3 on any instrument is a suggested minimum. All ages are welcome!
When we know who is interested, we will have a group meeting to determine when rehearsals would work best for all ringers, and take it from there.
