Psalms For A Pilgrimage People
Lenten Study & Reflection Group 2010
We are each given particular gifts of the Spirit.
For the sake of the world, God calls all followers
of Jesus to Christian ministry. In the church;
some are called to specific ministries of leadership,
both lay and ordered;
some witness to the good news;
some uphold the art of worship;
some comfort the grieving and guide the wandering;
some build up the community of wisdom;
some stand with the oppressed and work for justice.
To embody God’s love in the world, the work of the church requires the ministry and discipleship of all believers.

Our study group will befacilitated by a dynamic team. Scriptural reflection on the Lectionary Psalm of the day will be led by Rev. MacLean, Bronwyn Corlett (Full Candidate for Ministry) and Day Merrill (Lectionary Study Group Leader). The “Prayer In The Body” introspective aspect of the group will be led by Jennifer Dick; acclaimed dancer, choreographer and yoga teacher. The “Musical Reflection” elements of the study group will be led by members of our own music team led by award winning bassist, producer and multi-instrumentalist George Koller. Each week a lay member of the study group will lead the “Sharing The Story” element reflecting on their personal faith pilgrimage related to the theme and scripture of the day.
