About the event
The 2024 World Day of Prayer service will be held at St. Andrew’s on Saturday, March 2 at 11am, in collaboration with the Women’s Interchurch Council of Canada. The service this year was written by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Palestine, reflecting on Ephesians 4:1-3 – “I beg you … bear with one another in love.” As expressed by the women of the Palestine WDP committee: "This program calls us to bear with each other in love, despite all difficulties and oppression…. We reflected collectively on this theme from the context of our suffering as Palestinian Christian women. We hope to inspire other women around the world to bear with one another in love during troubled times.” This service will include leadership from St. Andrew’s (Mary Collins, Bronwyn Corlett, Hilary Donaldson) in collaboration with lay leaders from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, St. Peter and St. Simon the Apostle Anglican Church, Rosedale Presbyterian Church, and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
