About Us
St. Andrew's is a congregation of the United Church of Canada. Our mission is to live, work and worship in an intensely urban setting. We are a Christian congregation set among the streets and tall towers at Yonge & Bloor, the busiest intersection in Canada.

We are a warm, welcoming, diverse and inclusive community of faith. The roots of our congregation reach back to 1830, and our current visioning looks forward to our 200th anniversary and beyond.

Our current church building dates from 1983 having a flexible worship space, fully air-conditioned multi-use facilities, underground parking, an elevator and commercial-grade kitchen facilities. Backlit stained glass windows shine out every evening for all to see. Every day, in all seasons, community groups are made welcome here, and our spaces are busy.
We worship on Sundays and at other high points of the Christian year. We gather often in groups large and small for activities and fellowship. Our community engagement connects us with other faith communities and local agencies to do works of giving and helping, teaching and care. The life of our congregation is year-round, and offers many opportunities for involvement during the week.
