At St. Andrew’s United Church, we baptize because Jesus chose baptism, and we seek to follow in his way. Jesus invited his followers to mark faith through baptism, and the Church has lived into that invitation ever since. For us, baptism is also a sign of belonging. It reminds us that God calls us into community—not as individuals alone, but together, as a family of faith. At St. Andrew’s, we are family-friendly and welcome everyone, at every age and stage of life. Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your journey, you have a place here. At St. Andrew’s United Church, we offer funeral and memorial services as a respectful celebration of the life. We welcome everyone, regardless of age, faith background, or church membership. We strive to offer compassionate care throughout this time.
Families are encouraged to shape the service in a way that reflects the life and personality of the person who has died. The congregation and community stand alongside them in support, remembrance, and shared comfort.
